Dog Boarding Daycare & Grooming in Lake Norman, NC

Lake Norman life is busy: boat days, summer trips, holiday travel, long workdays in Charlotte. Paws Life is a locally owned, mom-managed dog resort on Statesville Road in Cornelius, right in the middle of the lake communities. When you can’t bring your dog along, they can spend the day playing with friends instead of waiting at home.

Made for lake life

• Out on the boat all day? Drop your dog at daycare in the morning and pick them up tired and happy. Weekday playgroups start at 7am.
• Want to check in from the water? Our free live HD webcams let you see the playrooms and yards from your phone. See the webcams.
• Hot summers. We don’t cap playtime like some facilities, but we build in rest time, especially in the summer heat.
• Lake-dog clean-up. Book a grooming visit or add a go-home bath to any boarding stay.

Dog grooming in Lake Norman

Lake dogs get dirty: muddy paws, lake water, sand, and summer shedding. Our grooming team keeps them clean, comfortable and looking their best.

Paws Life Grooming brings together two Lake Norman favorites: the grooming team from Purrfect Paws and Lake Norman Pet Grooming. If you’ve used either one, you may already know our groomers.

Meet our groomers

• Amanda joined us from Lake Norman Pet Grooming and has nearly 20 years of grooming experience across North Carolina. She knows the traditional breed cuts and is happy to customize.
• Diego has groomed in the Charlotte area for several years and works with all breeds. Clients love his calm, unhurried pace, and he speaks Spanish (se habla español).

Grooming services

• Bath & Nails. A fresh bath and nail trim, perfect after a weekend on the lake.
• Face, Feet & Fanny. A tidy-up between full grooms.
• Full Haircut. A complete groom, styled the way you like it.

Prices start at $30 for Bath & Nails, $45 for Face, Feet & Fanny, and $55 for a Full Groom

Every dog is different, so your groomer will evaluate your dog and talk through what you want before quoting a final price. See current grooming prices.

Local care, not a chain

Paws Life is run by people who live here. Our team has more than 25 years of experience running dog playgroups at this location, which you may remember as Purrfect Paws. In 2026 we were named Best Independent Dog Daycare in Cornelius, NC by the Evergreen Awards. You’ll see the same faces at every drop-off, and we’ll know your dog by name.
